The collections of the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle (MNHN) are extraordinarily rich. With an estimated 65 million specimens, the items in the collections are at the disposal of researchers from around the world. The collections presented and housed at the Musée de l’Homme are an integral part of the national collections entrusted to the MNHN, of which the Musée de l’Homme is a division.
