Hearing impaired visitors
Find out about all our support services, from accessible devices to adapted guided tours, to prepare your visit to the museum.
Visits in French sign language and in French cued speech are available on request and with a reservation at accessibilite.museedelhomme [@] mnhn.fr. Devices in French sign language are available for self-guided tours.
Individual visitors
All the guided tours offered each week are accessible using individual magnetic loops.
Free admission for disabled people and their companion or carer on presentation of proof at the reception desk.
Services offered
The reception desks on the ground floor and on the first floor are equipped with magnetic loops for visitors with hearing aids.
- Videos in French Sign Language and with subtitles are available.
Groups
Reservations are required for all tour formats: self-guided tours, guided tours and workshops.
Guided tours with a trained guide are offered to groups of people with impaired hearing, upon reservation.
Reservations can be made online on our website dedicated to group bookings.
Upon reservation, guided tours providing hearing devices connected to a magnetic induction loop (MIS) are offered for the hearing impaired.
Guided tours in French sign language

Guided tours in cued speech are offered at the Musée de l'Homme on request.
